Coworking Spain conference, the major Spanish event related to coworking, is to take place next April 24-25 at Las Naves coworking space. During 2 days the best Spanish experts of coworking and sharing economy will present the latest trends about working, economical and social new models.
Coworking is a global phenomenon, 5.780 coworking spaces are registered worldwide and 2.430 in Europe. With more than 400 coworking spaces in operation, Spain is the country with the highest number of coworking spaces in Europe. Spain is acknowledged as one of the most influential countries in this new way of working. Nowadays, more than 7.000 freelancers and startups in Spain are working under the coworking roof.
This year’s conference main topic will be: The Sharing City. The Sharing City is a collaboration based on new way of organizing cities. Citiziens collaborate with each other, sharing spaces, services, goods and infrastructures. Objective: to turn urban centers into sustainable cities overcoming the bad conditions of urban centers, such as price inflation unemployment and pollution. The citizen’s collective intelligence is used to share knowledge through digital and physical platforms.
As a key component of the Sharing Economy, the coworking movement is also becoming one of the engines of the Sharing City.
