The European Central Bank will open its own 900 sqm coworking space in Brussels in September of this year.
The decision was made following the difficulty to accommodate all the officials who need to work at the European Central Bank’s Brussels HQ.
The hub will serve as a platform for the ECB to defend its policy decisions and will likely be identifiable by a copper plaque at the entrance that will read “House of the Euro.”
The space will be shared by 8 central banks across the EU who will also share the rent of approximately €20,000 a month.
