Portuguese coworking operator Avila Spaces is set to open its third coworking space in Lisbon in September of this year.

The opening is driven by a 60% increase in demand from companies seeking alternatives to traditional leases.

“It is very interesting to see that coworking spaces are increasingly sought after, not only by small but also by large companies, as part of talent attraction and retention strategies”, says Carlos Gonçalves, CEO and founder of Avila Spaces.

The new 1,000 sqm space will have the capacity for around 300 people, including private offices and coworking areas.
The ground floor of the new space will be activated via ‘Cowork Café’ – a new concept launched by Avila for events and networking.
