11 coworking operators create a collaborative platform in the Upper Austria region : Coworking Oberoesterreich.
“The Coworking Network Upper Austria platform is step towards the professionalization of a booming industry. The days when coworking spaces were exclusively regarded as habitats for start-up founders or sole entrepreneurs have long since passed. The growth of coworking spaces is driven by megatrends such as individualisation, climate change or urbanisation – and, of course, the finding that coworking is a perfect offer in an increasingly flexible world of work”, say the initiators of the platform.
In total, 46 coworking spaces operate in the region.
The platform will bring together both urban and rural coworking space. Coworking Oberöstereich will initiate collective events and be a contact point for local authorities. One initiative will be an Open Coworking Day later in the year 2024.
The platform is supported by the local Chamber of Commerce.
