The international innovation campuses operator CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) takes over Factory Berlin former biggest location.

Due to different reasons, Factory Berlin had announced a few months ago the intention to end the operations of its 14.000 m2 big Görlitzer Park facility.
CIC has finally decided to use the building as a springboard to start its activities in Germany.

“CIC’s expansion to Berlin gives us an opportunity to bring that expertise to the largest facility in Germany dedicated to housing startups and innovation teams of larger corporations. We and our partners will be investing in upgrades to this historic building, and introducing our newest approaches to supporting and fostering innovation”, says Timothy Rowe, CEO and founder of CIC. “Members of our new CIC Berlin facility will have access to our global network of innovation campuses, from Boston to Warsaw to Tokyo. Our network of 2,500+ startups and corporations worldwide stands open to them as they seek to bring their innovations to the world.”

Founded in 1999 in Cambridge (Massachusetts), CIC today manages more than 120.000 m2 of workspaces, laboratories, and event space across North America, Europe, and Asia. In Europe, CIC operates locations in Rotterdam and Warsaw.
