Dutch coworking operator StartDock opens a 6th location in Amsterdam and looks to grow to 10 locations

Dutch coworking operator StartDock opens a sixth location in Amsterdam and looks to grow to 10 locations by 2027.

Startdock has grown its network in downtown Amsterdam, renovating and bringing top-notched coworking services in sometimes centuries old buildings alongside the beautiful old-Amsterdam urban scenery.

The new location makes no exception. The iconic and monumental canal house, dating from 1685, once served as the mayor’s official residence.

“The building has a total area of 1816 m² and houses an impressive number of facilities that are both professional and stylish. It offers 28 private offices, designed to provide an optimal working experience with adequate privacy and comfort. There are also two flexible workspaces, specially designed to provide a versatile and dynamic working experience. These flex spaces are ideal for entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals who need a flexible working solution without wanting to commit to a fixed office space”, writes Thom Wernke, CEO and co-founder of Startdock, in a press release.

StartDock Coworking was founded in 2016 by five young entrepreneurs with a shared vision. The concept of StartDock Coworking is known for housing young and innovative companies in classic landmark buildings.

At the end of 2023, StartDock has raised close to €1 Mio from a family office and various business angels to scale its coworking concept.
