The cumulative valuation of India’s coworking spaces approaching IPOs is nearing US$ 5 billion.
Two major players in the country, Table Space and WeWork India, are set to go public soon.
Table Space , founded in 2017, operates 60 locations across six major cities, managing nearly 1 million square meters of workspace. In late 2022, Hillhouse Investment invested US$ 300 million into the company. According to TechCrunch, Table Space is targeting a valuation of US$ 2.5 billion or more for its planned IPO next year.
Confidence is bolstered by the 70% surge in Awfis Space Solutions Limited’s share price since its own IPO a few months ago. Awfis is one of India’s largest coworking brands.
Table Space’s co-founder, Kunal Mehra, anticipates annual revenue to reach nearly US$ 600 million by March 2027.
Meanwhile, WeWork India is expected to go public in the first half of 2025, according to ArcWeb. The company is aiming for a valuation of US$ 2 billion and hopes to raise up to US$ 400 million. WeWork India is a joint venture between the Indian property group Embassy Group and WeWork Global.
