German coworking operator 1000Satellites GmbH launches €1 Mio crowdfunding to fund expansion
German coworking operator 1000 Satellites GmbH has launched a € 1 Mio crowdfunding campaign to fund expansion and move towards robust profitability.
The company has already collected close to 300.000 €, says co-founder Gregory von Abendroth. Next steps are scheduled in the future.
The entry ticket to take part in the crowdfunding hosted by the Berlin based platform Companisto is 250€ .
Between 2023 and 2024, 1000 Satellites’ revenues more than doubled, from € 3.2 Mio to € 7 Mio.
The raised capital will for a part be used to open new locations where corporate customers are asking for it, comments the coworking operator. 1000 Satellites serves a range of corporations through its concept of “HQ as a service”, which both provide the main office for companies connected to the flexible facilities and services provided within all coworking locations. Nowadays, the decentralized network of 12 coworking locations covers the German regions of Rhine-Neckar, Hamburg and Munich.
1000 Satellites, which as of today employs 50 people, initially was a project supported by BASF Chemovator‘ structure.
