Hotel + Coworking lifestyle brands developer Ennismore keeps expanding with 20 new locations in the pipe

The lifestyle hospitality group Ennismore, known for it’s multi-brands strategy often mixing accommodation and coworking facilities, is set to open 20 new hotels in 2025 as part of its continued expansion.

Ennismore brands include The Hoxton, Mondrian, 25hours, Mama Shelter, SLS, Hyde, and Delano. These brands emphasize a mix of hospitality, lifestyle, and social experiences.

The announced expansion in 2025 will be global. The Hoxton, Ennismore’s first brand, will open new locations in Florence, Edinburgh and Dublin. Mama Shelter will open it’s world twentieth location in Singapore. New resorts are announced in the Middle East as well, according to Skift online news media.

The company, majority owned by the French Accor group, has set up a revenue diversification strategy beyond traditional hotel stays. The group integrates services like coworking spaces, extended-stay options, dining, and social hubs to create dynamic, multi-use destinations.

The Hoxton’s “Working From_” concept, for instance, caters to the rising demand for flexible workspaces, attracting both guests and local professionals. The approach mitigates revenue volatility by tapping into multiple income streams, ensuring sustainable growth in an evolving hospitality landscape. Ennismore properties derive “over 60% of revenue” from sources outside accommodations, states Sharan Pasricha, Ennismore’s founder in Skiff, who also cherishes vertical integration (F&B, Design, etc.).

“Competition is rising for lifestyle hotels. In the U.S. alone, the category accounts for 32% of open branded hotels, an increase of 26.3 percentage points of share since 2000, according to a 2023 report by JLL Hotels & Hospitality”, notes the Skift article.
