Kiez Büro coworking increases its footprint with a new 2,700 m² location announced in Berlin

The German coworking Kiez Büro announces its largest expansion yet. On April 1, 2025, the flexible workspace provider will open a new 2,700 m² location in Berlin, in the “Kalle Neuköln” project developed by the real estate firm MREI.
Once completed, the workspace will feature 400 desks across 35 rooms, ranging from 10 to 110 m² in size. Members will have the opportunity to enjoy amenities such as a lounge area with beach chairs, a kitchen, a library, and printers. The new facility will have a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, according to an article published in Konii.
Kiez Büro’s founder and managing director Björn Budack says he is thrilled about this expansion, stating: “Nine years ago, we started in a homely shop in Kreuzberg, and now we are moving into the coolest building in Berlin – that’s crazy. The Kalle Neukölln is clearly the star among the buildings that were considered for us. And I am sure that our office communities will take advantage of the opportunities here. My personal highlight is definitely the huge roof terrace with the pool. I can hardly wait to swim my first laps here.”
“With his Kiez offices, Björn Budack offers the ideal place for relaxed working – ultra-modern and at the same time comfortable. A really great addition to the Kalle”, says Hans Stier, a partner at MREI.
Founded in 2016, Kiez Büro was created to provide affordable, flexible coworking spaces for freelancers, remote workers, and small businesses. The company has steadily grown and now operates across Berlin, Hamburg, and Frankfurt (Oder), with the new Kalle Neukölln location being its 14th and largest space to date.
Kiez Büro position itself on the “community-focused workspaces” segment.
