Spanish Monday Plans To Double Its Network With 12 New Locations In The Pipe, After €14M Revenue Surge

The Spanish coworking operator Monday has opened its second coworking space in Málaga and is already planning a third in the city.
The new location, Monday Lehmberg, sheltered in a former Alianz building, launched with a 70% occupancy rate, according to El Economista, reflecting strong demand in Andalusia, one of Spain’s most competitive office markets.
The information marks the start of an aggressive expansion plan: Monday aims to double its footprint from 12 to 24 locations, following a successful 2024 that saw €14 million in revenue, up from €12 million the year before.
The company is now targeting new spaces in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Valencia, Seville, and Porto, with the goal of surpassing 50,000 square meters of workspace by the end of 2025 and 80,000 by 2026.
Its user base is expected to grow from 4,000 to 8,000 coworkers in that timeframe. “Málaga is a clear reflection of a solid business ecosystem,” says CEO and co-founder Xavi Bassons, in the El Economista article, affirming plans for a third space in the city.
Founded in 2018, Monday currently operates five locations in Barcelona, three in Madrid, two in Málaga, and one each in Lisbon and Andorra. Its hybrid model offers hot desks, fixed desks, and private offices, along with amenities like gyms, terraces, meeting rooms, and event programming.
Monday Lehmberg follows this model, combining sleek design with comfort and productivity. Renovated by Savills and Vivim Studio, the space reflects Monday’s commitment to premium work environments.
In 2024, Monday Working Spaces has seen its controlling shareholder sell their stake to a private equity firm from Andorra, valuing the company at €30 million.
