Flexible Workspace Operator Orega Plans to Double Footprint Across the UK With Management Agreement Model

UK-based flexible workspace provider Orega has announced plans to double its footprint over the next five years, expanding from 26 to 50 locations, confirmed Alan Pepper, Orega’s CEO.

The company currently operates around 51,000 m2 of premium flexible office space across the UK and aims to scale up to over 100,000 m2 by the end of the decade.

The expansion is underpinned by Orega’s distinct management agreement model, which differs from traditional leasehold arrangements. According to the company, this structure has helped it remain resilient across economic cycles and positions it as the leading operator of management agreements in the UK flexible office sector.

A recent example is Orega’s fully let 3,300 m2 centre in London, which the company highlights as a sign of sustained demand for high-quality, flexible office space in central business locations.

Founded in 2001, Orega has grown to support over 10,000 customers, according to the company’s website, through its network of 9,500 desks. Its facilities are all located in prime city centre properties, reflecting occupier priorities for well-connected, amenity-rich locations that suit hybrid and agile work models.

With a portfolio already spanning 26 UK cities, Orega company reports growing interest from landlords looking to diversify their tenant mix and optimise underutilised space through managed workspace offerings.
