Polish Coworking Operator The Shire Keeps Expanding With New Locations in Warsaw and Krakow

The Polish coworking operator The Shire – Beyond Coworking is expanding its presence in Poland with the opening of two new locations in Warsaw and Kraków. These additions significantly grow the company’s national footprint as demand for flexible and premium office solutions continues to rise across Polish cities.

The Shire’s newest site in Kraków will open in September 2025 in Unity Tower, the tallest office building in the city. The space will span 1,800 m2 across the top three floors of the tower, offering over 200 workstations, private offices, conference rooms, phone booths, and dedicated focus and relaxation areas. The site will target companies seeking flexible lease terms combined with premium office infrastructure in a prominent location, says a company press release.

In Warsaw, The Shire recently opened a location in Zebra Tower, a 16-story class-A office building owned by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. The site offers 3,200 m2 of space across four floors. The facilities include private offices, dedicated desks, open-plan coworking areas, and meeting rooms, all equipped with modern business amenities.

According to Union Investment, the partnership with The Shire is part of a strategy to integrate high-quality flexible office providers into landmark properties to meet the evolving needs of tenants. The building hosts over 18,000 m2 of office and retail space.

The two new openings mark an acceleration in The Shire’s development strategy, which operates 9 locations in Poland. The company, which positions itself as a workspace brand focused on combining flexibility with professional-grade infrastructure, continues to grow its presence in both major Polish cities and regional markets.

Additional locations are currently under development, according to The Shire, in response to increased demand for hybrid and flexible office options from startups, SMEs, and larger corporate clients.

Rafał Pisklewicz, The Shire’s Managing Partner, will be a speaker at the upcoming Coworking Europe 2025 conference in Berlin (Nov 19-20).
