Austrian Hotel Chain “harry’s home” Tapers Into “Workation” with Coworking-Style Services

Harry’s Home Hotels & Apartments, a hotel chain based in Tyrol, is adapting to the growing trend of combining travel and remote work by enhancing its “workation” offerings across its properties in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, explains this article.
Over the past year, the chain deployed longer-stay packages (starting from seven nights) and flexible “living for a time” arrangements tailored to remote workers, freelancers, and digital nomads. Its rooms and apartments include practical working features such as kitchenettes, espresso machines, fast Wi-Fi, and ample desk space.
Several sites also introduce “Flex-Rooms,” snack and coffee service points, and in cities like Graz or Lienz, dedicated coworking zones. These amenities, says Harry’s Home’s, are part of the company’s strategy to combine accommodation and workspace in a seamless, community-oriented design.
Harry’s Home also expanded its footprint in 2024 by opening new properties in Salzburg, Lienz, and Graz Smart City, bringing the total to 16 locations. The group operates also includes Hotel Schwarzer Adler and ADLERS Lifestyle-Hotel in Innsbruck within its portfolio.
