Convendum and Dospace Join Forces In a Partnership as Coworking Market Reshapes in Sweden

Two of Sweden’s leading coworking operators, Convendum and Dospace, announced a strategic partnership. The agreement will allow members of both companies to access each other’s lounges, offices, and conference rooms across Sweden and in Palma, Spain, as well as share benefits such as breakfasts, coffee, networking events, and after-work gatherings. A test phase will run until the end of December.
For Convendum, the deal represents another step in a collaborative strategy. Earlier this year, the company signed a similar agreement with Genetor.
These moves come after Convendum emerged from corporate restructuring in mid-2025, which reduced its footprint to 15 locations. The operator, founded in 2015, has historically focused on premium offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and international outposts such as Palma. Its leadership has emphasized that partnerships are a way to deliver more value while keeping operations stable.
Dospace, which operates a network of coworking sites in mid-sized Swedish cities, also sees the partnership as a way to broaden its geographical reach. The announcement follows its recent decision to discontinue operations in Munksjötornet, Jönköping, after less than three years, underscoring the challenges of sustaining investments in certain regional markets.
The partnership between Convendum and Dospace reflects broader shifts in the Swedish coworking landscape. Analysts expect future growth to come from fewer but larger spaces, as the market consolidates and operators focus on efficiency and stronger footprints in major hubs. According to a recent analysis by Realtid, coworking in Sweden is moving toward larger, stronger, and fewer locations. In this context, cross-operator agreements such as the Convendum–Dospace collaboration appear to be part of a soft consolidation process, allowing operators to extend reach without additional capital-intensive expansion.
