UK Coworking Operator Cubo Surpasses €34M in Revenue and Prepares for New Openings

The regional British coworking operator Cubo, based in the English Derby city, has announced that its contracted annual revenue (ARR) has exceeded €34 million. The announcement coincides with plans to launch new sites across the country, marking the next chapter of the company’s ambitious expansion strategy.

Founded in 2020, Cubo has become one of the UK’s most dynamic flexible workspace providers, with 13 operational locations in cities including London (Soho), Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. The operator has also launched second sites in Birmingham, Nottingham, and Derby, further deepening its regional footprint.

In 2024, Cubo made headlines with the acquisition of one of WeWork’s six provincial UK sites, taking over three floors in Manchester, a move that highlighted its readiness to scale by seizing key real estate opportunities.

Over the past 12 months, the company has achieved record occupancy rates, with five of its locations fully let, and reported its highest number of enterprise client sign-ups. Its community now includes a growing number of blue-chip organisations, drawn to Cubo’s offerings and focus on flexibility, community, and design, says the company.

“Reaching £30 million in ARR is a huge testament to the strength of our vision and the trust that so many businesses have placed in Cubo,” said Marc Brough, CEO of Cubo. “In just five years, we’ve built a model that delivers commercial success while inspiring innovation and collaboration across our member base.”

Marc Brough confirmed that new sites are set to open at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, continuing Cubo’s trajectory as one of the fastest-growing players in the UK’s flex workspace industry. The company’s performance reflects sustained demand for high-quality, well-located, and service-oriented workspaces as organisations adapt to evolving work patterns in the hybrid era.
