The 2025 x+why slide deck described a “clubspace” model that combined flexible workspace with hospitality, meetings, events, front-of-house services, members’ clubs, and food and beverage operations. It framed the organisation’s purpose as changing how the world worked and said its approach was to unite, inspire, and amplify members’ work while supporting them in building culture. The proposed offer was a single platform intended to manage the tenant journey and experience across an entire building. The deck argued that workplaces had served purposes beyond desks and chairs, illustrating this position through images of restaurants, bars, terraces, performances, events, and communal gatherings. It characterised the model as creating communities rather than serving isolated individuals. The presentation also identified practical challenges associated with clubspace operations, including balancing business-to-consumer and business-to-business audiences, high costs, employee-intensive delivery involving chefs, maintaining service standards, and operating around the clock. The deck was primarily visual and did not include financial results, membership figures, charts, or comparative market data.
