Cubo Expands Again, Strengthening Its Regional UK Coworking Strategy

The UK based coworking operator Cubo expands its footprint with a new location in central Birmingham, further reinforcing its strategy to build a major presence across the UK’s key regional cities.
The addition brings Cubo’s total number of sites to 15, with further growth planned into 2026.
Founded in Derby in 2020 by Marc Brough, Cubo has focused on creating a national network of high-end flexible offices outside of London, targeting major business hubs such as Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. The operator has steadily increased its market share by opening in core urban centres and establishing multiple sites in cities where demand is strong.
The new Birmingham location was previously operated by another flex space brand and has now been fully integrated into Cubo’s platform. The site adds 3.000 m2 of premium workspace to the company’s portfolio and includes private offices, coworking areas, meeting spaces, and community facilities.
This latest opening follows a year of accelerated growth for Cubo. In 2025, the company surpassed €34 million in contracted annual revenue, achieved record occupancy rates, and was recognised as the UK’s fastest-growing flexible workspace brand across the country’s six largest regional markets.
Cubo’s model, based on long leases or building ownership rather than short-term management agreements, gives it direct control over the customer experience and enables consistency across locations. The Birmingham launch aligns with this approach and represents a continuation of the company’s strategy to scale through selective expansion in high-demand city centres.
Looking ahead, Cubo plans to continue its rollout in major UK regions, with additional sites expected to open in the coming months as part of its long-term goal to become a leading national flex space provider.
