IWG Has Opened One Of Spain’s Largest Coworking Hub Next to Real Madrid’s Bernabeu Stadium

IWG, the global flexible workspace provider, has opened Spaces Bernabéu, one of Spain’s largest coworking center, located directly next to Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. With 12,000 m2, 160 private offices, and around 1,000 workstations, it’s operated under the Spaces coworking brand.

The new center is part of a strategic agreement between IWG and the MAPFRE group, which owns the building formerly known as Moda Shopping Mall. The property has undergone a full renovation to meet the needs of today’s hybrid work environment, including modern design, collaborative zones, retail offerings, and service upgrades, say both companies.

The site already began operations in September 2025.

“Spaces Bernabéu reflects the new dimension of flexible work in Spain. Its size, location, and design make it a unique center, designed to allow companies to operate with agility and without initial investment,” explained Daniel Pérez Colomar, Country Manager of IWG in Spain. “The collaboration with MAPFRE has been essential in transforming an iconic building into the largest flexible workspace in the country.”

Spaces Bernabéu is designed to serve a wide range of users—from large enterprises to SMEs and startups—offering flexible office configurations, short-term leasing options, and a location in one of Madrid’s most high-profile business and cultural districts.
