German Satellite Office to Open 4,000 m² of New Premium Flex Workspaces in Munich in 2026 Across Two Locations

The German premium coworking operator Satellite Office has confirmed the opening of two new high-end flexible workspace centers in Munich in 2026, totaling 4,000 m2. The two sites mark a significant expansion of the company’s presence in the Bavarian capital, where it has operated since 2011.

The Maximilianstraße location will span 2,000 m² across three floors and feature 40 private offices and more than 100 workstations, along with meeting rooms, lounges, and open-space zones. The site is positioned in one of the city’s most prestigious addresses.

In parallel, the company is also redeveloping the historic Villa Goethe. This project, launched in cooperation with real estate firm Legat Living, will add another 2,000 m², 43 exclusive offices, four meeting rooms, open lounges, and event space to the Satellite Office portfolio.

Founded in Berlin in 1997 by entrepreneur Anita Gödiker, Satellite Office began as a franchise operation before becoming fully independent in 1999 under Satellite Office GmbH. The company grew organically, expanding from its original 890 m² location at Berlin’s Checkpoint Charlie to a network of 15 premium centers across major cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Zurich, Geneva, and most recently Milan.

Satellite Office remains a fully owner-managed company, with no external investors. Its business model targets premium clients such as SMEs, financial institutions, law firms, and large enterprises, offering tailored, high-end work environments.

Satellite Office’s spaces are distinguished by their focus on acoustic quality, sustainability, and distraction-free design.

The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand in prime city-center locations across Europe, responding to the growing demand for upscale flexible workspace solutions.
