French Coworking Operator Work & Share Expands to Southern Paris Suburbs With 1,800 sqm Workspace
French coworking operator Work & Share will open a new flexible workspace in Villejuif, south of Paris, with the launch scheduled for July 2026, shared on the company LinkedIn page.
The site will occupy 1,800 sqm within a landmark office building BYOS at the Grand Parc Campus, a mixed-use development focused on innovation, health and education. This will be the operator’s 16th location in the Paris metropolitan area, following two major office openings last year, one in Paris’s premier business district, La Défense.
The new workspace will include private offices, flexible desks, operated offices and meeting rooms, alongside work alcoves, phone booths and collaborative areas designed for team use. Shared amenities in the building will include a restaurant, barista services, a business centre, lounge areas and green terraces, as well as an event space with terrace access for meetings and conferences.
The location sits within the Grand Parc Campus, a commercial hub combining services dedicated to innovation, health and education. It is located 150 metres from the Villejuif – Gustave Roussy station, providing a 15-minute connection to central Paris.
The station is part of the Grand Paris Express (GPE), a large-scale urban development and transport project that adds 200 km of new automated metro lines and 68 stations across the Paris metropolitan area. The network is designed to connect suburban hubs directly, creating a more polycentric metropolitan region without requiring travel through central Paris.
The BYOS building offers around 14,970 sqm of usable office space. The new Work & Share coworking and flexible office will occupy about 12% of the total floor area. The building is designed as a “living building” with open spaces and natural elements and has received several sustainability and technology certifications.
Founded in 2016, Work & Share is an independent flexible workspace operator focused on the Île-de-France region (north-central France). According to the Ubiqdata 2025 report, the company currently operates 15 coworking and flexible office locations across the Paris metropolitan area, representing a network of approximately 30,000 sqm of workspace.
