Agartha Real Estate strengthens OneCoWork, one of its coworking brands, with a fourth location in Barcelona

The Spanish flexible workspace operator OneCoWork is expanding with 2,650 sqm workspace in Barcelona. The new site will offer more than 430 workstations, with opening scheduled for May. The development is part of the roll out of the coworking multi-brand strategy of its majority owner Agartha Group, a Spanish real estate investment group.

The workspace is positioned in the premium segment and is primarily designed for corporates and large companies. It will include private offices, shared work areas and meeting rooms, alongside three fully equipped terraces, including a rooftop and a garden. The building spans multiple floors and has been redeveloped from an old car repair workshop into a purpose-built flexible office space.

The project is being delivered as a joint in-house development with Agartha Group, reflecting its vertically integrated approach across acquisition, development and operations. The group has been building a multi-brand platform in the flexible workspace sector, combining Impact Hub, OneCoWork and the managed office brand OneNext, launched in 2025 to target larger corporate occupiers with turnkey office solutions.

This strategy follows Agartha’s acquisition of a majority stake in OneCoWork in 2024, integrating the Barcelona-based premium operator into its platform and enabling further expansion through shared resources and operational synergies.

The new location is in Barcelona’s 22@ innovation district. The area continues to attract flexible workspace operators, including a recent 20,000 sqm campus by Aticco, currently the largest coworking space in Spain and Southern Europe.

Founded in 2016, OneCoWork currently operates four locations in Barcelona, one in Madrid and one in Preston in the United Kingdom. The company opened its first building in Madrid in 2025, which is currently operating at close to 100% occupancy, according to company press release. Further expansion is planned, with a new location in Málaga expected to follow in summer 2026.
