IWG partners with TGV Lyria, the high-speed rail service between France and Switzerland

International Workplace Group (IWG) partners with TGV Lyria to introduce a cross-border coworking offer targeting business travellers between France and Switzerland. TGV Lyria operates cross-border high-speed rail services between the two countries, connecting major economic centres. The partnership provides access to IWG flexible workspaces located near major train stations along the TGV Lyria network.

According to DeplacementsPros.com, the offer allows passengers to use coworking spaces, private offices and meeting rooms through IWG’s brands, including Regus, Spaces and Signature. Access is linked to train travel, with users able to book workspace via a dedicated platform.

First Class Signature passengers receive one hour of free access to selected IWG locations and a 10% discount on additional hours, while both First Class and Standard Class ticket holders benefit from a 10% discount on day desks, coworking spaces, meeting rooms and memberships. Locations are concentrated around key transport hubs in cities such as Paris, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich, within walking distance of main railway stations, reported by DeplacementsPros.com.

International Workplace Group operates a global network of more than 4,000 locations. The company expanded its platform significantly in 2025, adding 1,132 new centres through partnership agreements and reaching record network growth. Its model focuses on working with landlords and partners to deliver flexible office solutions across multiple brands and formats.

The concept of integrating coworking into rail travel is not new. ÖBB, the Austrian Railways, partnered with Vienna-based coworking operator Andys, which currently operates two such locations in Bad Ischl and Amstetten, located directly at railway stations.

A few years ago, Deutsche Bahn launched coworking spaces at selected railway stations in Germany. The programme has since ended, but it was also designed to offer flexible workspaces for commuters and business travellers.
