Swedish Coworking Operator A House Expands Stockholm Network With Fifth Location

Swedish A House will open a new coworking location in Stockholm’s Hagastaden district in June 2026. Hagastaden is one of the Swedish capital’s largest urban development projects, bringing together research, innovation, business, and city life in a new mixed-use district.

A House currently operates four sites across Stockholm, focusing on adaptive reuse projects, design-led environments, and community-driven workspace concepts.

The new site will be located within a larger mixed-use building comprising approximately 27,700 sqm of rentable space. The operator will occupy around 2,500 sqm, including roughly 1,600 sqm of coworking space with around 40 offices.

The Hagastaden opening continues A House’s strategy of transforming character buildings into hospitality-led work environments combining offices, culture, food, and social spaces. Rather than focusing solely on desk-based coworking, the company positions its locations as broader ecosystems for collaboration and innovation.

The interiors follow A House’s “Raw Naturalism” design concept, combining biophilic design, natural materials, greenery, and recycled vintage furniture to create a softer, hospitality-style work environment focused on wellbeing and comfort.

As part of its community-led concept, A House also operates “Innovation Spaces” designed for prototyping, workshops, creative production, and team events. These include kitchen labs, studios, and hands-on spaces where members can develop products, media, and food concepts.
