French HR Software Cy Asys Acquires The Flex Workspace Coordination Tool Producer m-work

French HR software company Asys has acquired m-work, a Paris-based startup specializing in hybrid work organization, flex office management and workforce planning, in a move designed to strengthen its position in the evolving workplace management market. The transaction was announced on June 4, 2026.

Founded in 2021 by Joséphine de Leusse and Édouard Bouyala, m-work develops software that helps companies coordinate where and how employees work. Its platform enables organizations to manage hybrid work schedules, office occupancy, desk reservations, remote work policies and operational team planning through artificial intelligence-enabled tools. The company operates two main products: m-work Flex, which focuses on telework and flex-office management, and m-work Planner, which helps organizations forecast workloads and optimize staffing levels. The platform is integrated with collaboration and HR systems used by businesses to centralize workforce planning.

Although m-work is not a coworking operator, it has established itself within the broader flexible workplace ecosystem by providing digital infrastructure for hybrid organizations.

Its technology addresses several challenges created by the shift toward flexible work arrangements, including office attendance management, shared workspace allocation and coordination between remote and on-site employees. The platform is used by companies seeking to optimize office space utilization while maintaining operational efficiency.

The company positions itself at the intersection of human resources, workplace management and workforce planning, sectors that have expanded significantly as employers adapt to hybrid working models introduced after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Asys is a French software publisher specializing in workforce management, time tracking and employee scheduling solutions.

Headquartered in Lyon, with offices in Nantes, the company employs approximately 200 people and serves organizations in France and international markets. Its software products are used daily by approximately 1.5 million workers across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, services and the public sector.

The company develops workforce management solutions that help organizations manage employee schedules, absences, payroll variables and operational planning. Its flagship products include Chronos and So’Horsys.

Asys reported annual revenue of approximately €20 million in 2025 and has accelerated its software-as-a-service strategy since investment firm CAPZA acquired a minority stake in the company in 2024.

The acquisition reflects a strategic effort by Asys to expand beyond traditional time and attendance management into intelligent workplace orchestration.

Anne-Sophie Kieffer, president of Asys, said the two companies share “a common vision of the future of work: more flexible, more seamless and more intelligent.” The acquisition also gives Asys access to technologies that complement its existing customer base. With 1.5 million users already relying on Asys software, the integration could create opportunities to deploy m-work’s capabilities at a larger scale.

The companies plan to build an integrated workforce planning platform combining Asys’ expertise in time and resource management with m-work’s workplace optimization tools.

The combined offering will allow organizations to manage several aspects of work from a single environment, including:

  • Workforce scheduling and staffing forecasts.
  • Hybrid work and remote work planning.
  • Flex-office and desk reservation systems.
  • Workplace occupancy management.
  • Resource allocation and operational planning.
  • AI-driven workforce optimization.

According to both companies, the objective is to help businesses coordinate employees, activities and workplaces more efficiently while improving employee experience and operational performance.
