Swedish Operator United Spaces to Open 20th Location in Sweden and the Fourth in Gothenburg

Swedish flexible workspace operator United Spaces will open its 20th location in Sweden in May 2027 with a new 5,700 sqm workspace at Park Central in Gothenburg. Located next to Gothenburg Central Station, the project will become the company’s fourth location in the city and further strengthen its presence in Sweden’s second-largest office market.

Park Central is a newly developed office building. It’s flexible workspace part will offer private offices, meeting rooms, coworking areas and shared amenities, targeting businesses looking for premium office space with strong transport connectivity.

To support the expansion, United Spaces has appointed Ellen Lindvall as Sales Manager for Gothenburg. Previously with Convendum and the hospitality sector, she will lead the launch of the Park Central location while helping develop the company’s sales organisation in the region.

“Previously, it was mainly smaller companies that sought out coworking, but now we notice that even larger companies are starting to think differently about offices. Many want flexibility and see the value in purchasing service and a work environment instead of building everything themselves,” Lindvall said, according to company announcement.

Chief executive officer Homan Tehrani said Gothenburg remains a strategic market for the operator.

“Park Central is one of the most exciting office developments in Gothenburg right now. Its location right next to Central Station makes it a natural meeting place for companies from all over the region” – said Tehrani.

Earlier this year, iOffice completed its rebranding to United Spaces following the acquisition of the rival operator. The combined business now operates 19 locations across Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala and Solna, positioning itself as one of Sweden’s largest flexible workspace operators.

Homan Tehrani will be a Speaker at Coworking Europe 2026 in Paris.
