UK’s Boutique Workplace Company Uses Football to Break Into a New Local Business Market

UK flexible workspace operator Boutique Workplace Company has partnered with professional football club Milton Keynes Dons as it prepares to open its first location in Milton Keynes, a regional city around 80 km northwest of London with around 300,000 inhabitants.
As part of the partnership, Boutique Workplace Company will also sponsor MK Dons’ Executive Club, the football club’s dedicated business lounge.
The partnership puts a coworking and serviced office operator into a local sports sponsorship environment traditionally occupied by consumer brands and major local businesses. For Boutique Workplace Company, it provides a route to introduce its brand to the Milton Keynes business community as it enters the city for the first time.
“As our new workplace in MK takes shape, we’ll be striving to bring the same level of quality and experience to the city’s business community as we have already done across London, Birmingham and Glasgow,” said Adam Nickson, Brand & Experience Director at Boutique Workplace Company.
The new location is in The Pinnacle in Milton Keynes, one of the most prominent buildings in the city’s main business district. Currently occupying the second floor, the operator is renovating the ground and first floors, which are scheduled to open in early 2027.
Boutique Workplace Company has provided flexible and serviced workspace since 2008, initially operating as Ventia. The business built its portfolio primarily around design-led serviced offices in character and heritage buildings in central London.
The company operates almost 40 flexible workplaces, including 35 in central London, with regional locations in Birmingham, Glasgow, Cheltenham and now Milton Keynes.
MK Dons is a professional football club competing in EFL League Two, the third tier of English football.
