French flexible workspace operator B’CoWorker Grows Regional Footprint to 24 Sites in France

French flexible workspace operator B’CoWorker will open a third site in Poitiers, western France, in early 2027, adding a 900 sqm coworking in the city centre. The operator’s regional French network will total 24 sites with the opening.

The building previously housed Cobalt, a pioneering coworking space, which ran a digital and start-up community there before closing in 2025. The building was acquired by BMG Foncière, a property arm of B’CoWorkers mother company, the French real estate group FSDV.

Agnés Ramé, managing director of B’CoWorker commented: “We are investing in a building that already housed one of the first third places in the region and which is now preparing to regain its vocation as a coworking space.”

The new centre will join B’CoWorker’s two existing Poitiers locations, near the railway station and the exhibition centre, extending the operator’s presence among the city’s businesses, self-employed workers and other economic players. The new site is also advertised with managed office (bureaux opérés) options.

Since 2022, B’CoWorker has also offered managed offices as an alternative to France’s traditional “3-6-9” commercial lease, giving companies private, fully fitted space without a long-term commitment. In 2025, managed offices accounted for approximately 10% (2 500 sqm) of the group’s total workspace.

Founded in 2020, B’CoWorker has opened roughly 23 centres across France, totalling about 25,000 sqm of workspace, concentrated in regional cities rather than Paris. Its network spans locations including Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, Nantes, Nancy, Nice, Strasbourg, Angers and the Lyon area, with sites typically combining private offices, open-plan coworking desks and meeting rooms alongside shared kitchens, lounges and phone booths.
