French Operator FLEX-O to Open 17th Site at Sophia Antipolis in 2027

French flexible workspace operator FLEX-O will open its seventeenth location in 2027, taking around 4,600 sqm in a technology park at Sophia Antipolis, southern France. The 20,500 sqm building in the tech park is developed by its own parent company, The Courtin Group.
The site will be the operator’s second in Sophia Antipolis. FLEX-O will operate the central building and will offer private offices, coworking space, meeting rooms alongside panoramic terraces and a roof garden. The development also includes nearby retail, dining and coliving.
The Courtin Group’s building, called Oxygen, is a redevelopment project, replacing an outdate building, contained asbestos and used a lot of energy. The new scheme is designed to be the greenest in the technology park, with a very low carbon footprint and low energy use.
Founded in 2020 by chief executive Christophe Courtin, FLEX-O is a French start-up and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Courtin Group. It runs flexible offices, coworking and meeting rooms across France. Its network spans Paris and a broad set of regional cities, including Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Rennes and Sophia Antipolis, with several centres positioned at or near major railway stations and airports. With the Oxygen opening, the operator will reach 17 locations.
One of the Flex-O locations will part of the coworking tour organized alongside the Coworking Europe Conference in Paris this November.
