Belgian Safety Professional Association Prebes Relocates to Officenter Hasselt with Flexible Workspace Deal

Prebes, the Belgian workplace safety professionals association, has relocated its office to Officenter Hasselt, part of the 14-site Officenter network in Flanders. The move follows two decades at its Kermt premises.

Prebes began in Kermt with six staff and now employs 12 at the new Hasselt location. The non-profit has trained hundreds of prevention advisors in its basic course.

The association is selling its previous headquarters building. Prebes explains it retains its all-in office cost and gains much higher flexibility under the new arrangement. As a part owner of Officenter’s buildings (Officenter’s tenants become co-owners of the infrastrucure) Prebes will also share in any long-term value growth.

“It’s great, Tom (and the entire Prebes team), that together we can offer you much greater flexibility without increasing your all-in office costs. And, since you are also co-owners of our properties, you will share in the appreciation in value we aim to achieve for our buildings over the long term. Now we just have to hope your current property finds a good buyer… after all, where else can you find an affordable property in a prime, high-visibility location in Hasselt that also offers ample parking?”, commented Koen Batsleer, Officenter’s CEO.

Officenter operates 14 locations across Flanders. It offers serviced offices, coworking spaces, and meeting rooms to SMEs and larger corporates under flexible contracts.
