We are aware that the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over and rules and regulations are still changing rapidly. In order for you to make the best possible arrangements for participating in the Coworking Europe 2021 conference in person, we have gathered all the information you need in a FAQ.

Q: What do I have to take into consideration when travelling to and from Vienna?

The rules about travelling depend on your means of travel and point of departure. You can find the latest regulations in English here

Attendees to Coworking Europe and its side events need to comply with the 2G+ rule:

ALL Attendees need to have a PCR test not older than 48 hours AND either

1) Be VACCINATED:

      • Valid EU vaccination certificate (timings depend on the type of vaccine used. See all info here)

Q: Where can I get PCR tested?

Vienna offers a range of places where you can get FREE PCR testing, independently of your nationality. The results come in German and English and take 24-48 hours. If you submit a “gargle” testkit before 9.00 am in the morning, test results will arrive within 24 hours. You can check all free testing sites and additional info here (The airport is unfortunately not one of them). Keep in mind that you need to pre-register online! Therefore, you can get a free PCR to join the conference if you come a day earlier in the morning and make a gargle test or visit one of the test-centers BEOFRE 09.00 am.

Q: Will I need to wear a mask?

Face masks with the FFP2/N95 standard are obligatory in all public places such as restaurants, public transportation, hotels and the conference venue.
