Andreas Knab is the Community Strategy Manager at Factory Berlin. Applying cutting-edge research methodologies like reality mining and social network analysis to one of Europe’s largest startup hubs, Andreas studies human interaction in modern workplaces and seeks to shape the future of community. Starting with his graduate research at Oxford University, which examined community formation in American megachurches, Andreas has spent the past decade looking at community in different contexts, and has worked for companies like Meetup, WeWork, and Oxford Analytica. He has also been a Research Assistant at the European Studies Centre and the Council on Foreign Relations, and was named a Dahrendorf Scholar for the Study of Freedom (St. Antony’s College) and a Davis Fellow for Peace (Middlebury College).
