Inês Petiz started as an entrepreneur in 2005, at the age of 19, when she didn’t even know what entrepreneurship was. Together with her partner, Helder Vilares, they created and went bankrupt the first companies in areas as diverse as a Computer Store, a Communication Design Studio, and a Lounge Bar on the beach.
After several years of learning and a lot of banging their heads against the wall, without finding anyone to guide them in the right direction, in 2017, they created Synergy Porto. A coworking space intended to provide a second home feeling to their coworkers. In 2020 they started sharing their knowledge with other entrepreneurs, creating an Entrepreneurship School, the Egg Academy.
At Egg Academy, they teach and support entrepreneurs in the process of starting their businesses, so that they do it with method and consistency and increase their chances of success. They do this through mentoring, online courses, ebooks, and events dedicated to entrepreneurs, in addition to providing a workspace in Porto.
