Konstantin Botev has been head of department in Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency since 2023.
Over 10 years he has experience on business management and was a geopolitical journalist and author. In 2018 he was a Civil society NGO representative in The National Assembly on Economic Policy, Innovations and Tourism and on European Affairs and Oversight of the European funds;
Mr. Botev also has extensive experience in state institutions, having held an expert positions in the state administration for more than 10 years.
Furthermore, from the beginning of 2022 till October 2023, he was a member of National crisis headquarters within the Council of Ministers, created by the prime minister, with the task of planning, managing and controlling the state support for persons who received temporary protection on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Additionally, Mr. Botev obtained a master’s degree in “Marketing and Economics” from the University of National and World Economy.
