After 8 years in various management positions for Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg and Moscow, Robert Beddies became Managing Director of betahaus Hamburg in 2015 – a home to Hamburg’s creative, digital, and startup scene and its community. After setbacks due to the covid crisis, betahaus Hamburg is now operating out of 2 locations (3.500 sqm / 37,700 sqft) with 450+ coworkers and is hosting events for 200+ companies.
Robert is also co-initiator and board member of the “Neue Amt Altona” cooperative, the first cooperatively organized coworking space, co-owned by its 350+ coworkers. Built-in wooden construction, Neues Amt Altona will open its doors in 2025.
