Romain Allouch is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sora, a specialized operator in the subletting and flexible office market. In this role, he leads the company’s mission to unlock one of the largest untapped ecosystems of operated office spaces globally, by bringing hospitality-grade service and management to subletting, without taking on the liabilities of a traditional lease model.
He brings over a decade of real estate experience spanning investment, hypergrowth, and restructuring. He began his career in two US investment funds, specializing in value-add asset acquisition and disposition. He then joined WeWork, where he spent 7 years leading real estate development. First for France, then across continental Europe, from Sweden to Portugal, overseeing the brand’s real estate expansion and subsequent restructuring across the region.
Drawing on the lessons of both hypergrowth and crisis, he founded Sora on the conviction that the future of flex office lies in an asset-light, management contract model, one where tenants and landlords themselves become the world’s largest coworking operators, with the right structure and operational support to do so.
