Sherri Tao is the co-founder of FlexGrade, the first independent quality certification framework purpose-built for the flexible workspace industry. FlexGrade gives operators a validated way to showcase their quality, differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market, and streamline deal flow for occupiers and brokers alike.
Sherri was part of the founding team at Upflex in early 2018, where she led the company’s global space partnerships and built the largest network of its kind. She later served as EVP of Global Operations, helping companies like IBM, Zoom, and Schneider Electric to shape and implement their workspace strategies.
With a passion for advancing the flexible workspace sector and a proven track record of introducing transformative concepts that evolve into industry standards, Sherri brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to ecosystem growth. Her focus is centered on empowering the next generation of operators to establish credibility, foster collaboration, and excel in an ever-evolving market landscape.
Now a proud new Tennessean, Sherri is enjoying exploring her new home and has plans to pick up some line dancing along the way!
