William Stokman, City of Amsterdam

William Stokman is urban economist for the City of Amsterdam.

For the department of economic affairs he contributes to the Amsterdam urban growth strategy. He is author of a spatial economic plan ‘Urban Space for New Economy’ (www.amsterdam.nl/economievanmorgen)  as an adaptive economic urban development strategy.

This plan puts on the agenda the development of new urban area’s that facilitate co-working, open innovation and social-economic inclusion. William is involved in urban development projects as: Hamerkwartier, Marineterrein and ENTER.NL/The International entrance of the Netherlands.

William was born and raised in Amsterdam and currently living In the city of Haarlem Amsterdam Metropolitan Area
