German coworking brand Space Plus Store GmbH acquires a 15,500 sqm former department store in central Cologne.
The brand, which offers self-storage services, will convert the space into a mix of storage rooms, coworking, and flex offices.
The new space is set to open by the end of 2024.
“The renowned location in Cologne is ideal for us as it is directly connected to the established ‘Rhein Center’. Here we can perfectly combine our concept of self-storage with flex office and coworking offers. This combination allows users to work flexibly in a dynamic environment and benefit from the advantages of a collaborative work environment,” said Russell Jordan, Managing Director of Space Plus.
This new Space Plus will be the 17th location operated by the brand across Germany.
