Consolidation time in Germany: Work Inn and SleevesUp! Spaces GmbH join forces to shape up the widest coworking network in the country.

“The new partnership has 44 locations in 29 cities – and over 3,000 members. SleevesUp! and Work Inn thus form Germany’s largest decentralized coworking network, which will be expanded even further in the future. The special feature: the focus is not only on the top 7 cities in central locations, as is usually the case in the industry, but on a nationwide expansion throughout Germany”, says a jointly issued press release.

The WorkInn-SleevesUp network will grow to 100 coworking locations by 2028 – a new milestone in the coworking sector on the German market, according to both companies.

Highquality locations with first-class facilities, local connections and sustainability standards make us a provider that stands out from the rest. This corporate identity will be further strengthened by the merger with SleevesUp!”, says Work Inn founder Dörte Schabsky.

“Maximum flexibility in workplace design and working hours are the most important pillars of the new world of work – and of our corporate identity,” says Sebastian Schmidt, Managing Director of SleevesUp!

Both companies are family-run coworking pioneers and regional market leaders.

The Press Release doesn’t say under which brand the new joint-venture will operate.

Work Inn operates 12 coworking spaces in five cities in the Ruhr region: Dortmund, Bochum, Essen, Mülheim and Duisburg. The community comprises over 1,000 members with a focus on the IT and creative industries. SleevesUp! operates 32 locations in 24 cities across Germany and more than 29.000 m2 of total space.
