Sitio Expands Lisbon Presence with 13th New Coworking Space in Portugal

The Portuguese coworking operator Sitio is expanding its footprint in Lisbon with the opening of a new space in Praça do Rossio, one of the city’s most central and historic locations. The launch of Sitio Rossio brings the company’s national network to 13 locations across Portugal.

The new site occupies over 1,700 m² across four floors in a renovated building that blends architectural heritage with modern workspace design, explains the company. It will offer a mix of private offices, coworking areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces tailored to the needs of businesses embracing flexible work models.

According to Miguel Ricardo, General Manager of Sitio and co-founder of Nice Way Hostels, the opening marks an important milestone in the company’s growth. “Rossio is a vibrant area that reflects the energy of our community. With each new space, we aim to provide environments that support innovation and collaboration for companies of all sizes,” he said.

Founded in 2014 to respond to the growing demand for community-oriented workplaces, Sitio has developed a presence in key Portuguese cities by focusing on design, location, and service. The Rossio addition reinforces its strategy of offering workspaces that meet the evolving needs of professionals while contributing to the revitalization of urban centers, comments the company.

Sitio is a Grupo HIMO initiative, a structured business environment made of complementary companies from the real estate industry.
