German Operator Satellite Office Expands Into Italy, Adding 18th Location To Portfolio

German premium workspace operator Satellite Office has opened a new flexible workspace in Milan, marking its expansion into Italy and adding an 18th location to its European portfolio. The site is located at Piazza Cordusio, a central business and financial district in the city.

Spanning more than 1,900 sqm, the Milan site includes private offices, meeting rooms, quiet workspaces, and a large roof terrace with views extending to the cathedral. The building combines heritage architecture with premium interiors aimed at executives, consultants, and corporate teams seeking privacy and concentration in central urban locations.

The new workspace is housed in a former bank building in the historic centre, within walking distance of major business, retail, and cultural landmarks, including the famous Duomo cathedral.

Founded in 1997, Satellite Office now manages 18 locations across nine cities in Germany, Switzerland, and now Italy. It positions itself in the upper segment of the flexible workspace market, targeting professionals and companies seeking an alternative to conventional coworking environments.

“For us, Milan is not a coincidence – it is a conscious decision,” said Anita Gödiker, Managing director and owner of Satellite Office.

Satellite Office’s workspace concept is built around its registered trademark “pureSilent” philosophy, developed in cooperation with the University of St. Gallen. The design approach focuses on ergonomics, acoustics, lighting, and materials intended to reduce sensory distraction and support concentrated work.
