Irish coworking player Workways s set to open a 30.000 sqm campus in Zaventem, Belgium.
Tens of millions of euros have been invested in the purchase and renovation of buildings with the aim of making them a large campus of coworking spaces on the outskirts of Brussels.
Part of the investment is aimed at energy consumption.
Workways wants to eliminate the use of gas or oil. The heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems are controlled by tools developed by the company.
Workways now owns 80,000 m2 of space from buildings that have been completely transformed and located near European capitals, namely Paris, Brussels, and Dublin.
