Dutch coworking operator HNK confirms opening of 7-story building in Rotterdam as 10th location

Dutch coworking operator HNK has confirmed the opening of a seven-story office building in Rotterdam, marking the company’s tenth location in the Netherlands.
“The office building, currently undergoing transformation, spans approximately 10,000 m². It will be a space where hospitality, sustainability, well-being, and convenience come together, offering top-tier facilities and services,” the company stated in a LinkedIn post.
HNK Rotterdam Alexander is set to be delivered in Q4 2025 and will be the company’s third location in Rotterdam, complementing existing spaces in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague.
The HNK brand, which stands for “Het Nieuwe Kantoor” (The New Office), is owned by NSI, a major real estate company that manages more than 35 office buildings across the Netherlands.
As one of the country’s largest flexible workspace providers, HNK emphasizes its strong focus on hospitality. “HNK puts the ‘H’ in Hospitality and is now bringing it to the workplace,” the company insists, highlighting its investments in energy efficiency and sustainability across its locations.
Ten years after its launch, NSI rebranded HNK in 2022 and significantly increased its investment in its flexible workspace division. “Initially, HNK was conceived as a way to fill vacant office space. Over time, we completely shifted our approach. Today, HNK is at the heart of our strategy to better serve our customers,” said Bernd Stahli, CEO of NSI, at the time of the rebranding.
