Local Swedish Coworking Operator Ready4Work Plans Significant Expansion in hometown Halmstad

Ready4Work, a dedicated coworking space provider in Halmstad, Southern Sweden, is set to significantly expand its facilities by adding a new wing to its existing building. This expansion will add 2,000 m² to its current 3,800 m² of operational space.

Located in Halmstad, a city of 70,000 inhabitants, Ready4Work offers a variety of modern work environments, including offices, studios, lounges, and café areas, all meticulously designed. The company caters to the diverse needs of freelancers, startups, and established businesses in the region.

Launched in 2022, Ready4Work currently accommodates 80 people and 50 companies – through 66 private offices –  according to a local media report. Mikael Honauer, who co-founded the company alongside Alex Petersson, owns the property, according to the same source.

By focusing exclusively on Halmstad, Ready4Work seems to have cultivated a deep understanding of the local business community, allowing it to tailor its offerings effectively. This “hyper-localized approach” can demonstrate that even in smaller cities, there is demand for flexible and modern coworking spaces.

The two founders bring diverse professional backgrounds to the venture: Honauer has experience in real estate, while Petersson comes from the restaurant industries.
