Bulgarian coworking operator WorkBetter takes over operations of one of competitor ThisWay’s location

WorkBetter, one of Bulgaria’s largest coworking space providers, expands by taking over operations of one if its competitor, ThisWay – Tsarigradsko. This strategic move strengthens WorkBetter’s position in the market and continues the evolution of Sofia’s flexible workspace sector, says the company.

With this latest expansion, WorkBetter now operates three locations in Sofia and boasts 13,000 m2 of flexible workspaces, solidifying its position as one of the coworking leaders in Bulgaria.

According to WorkBetter, the Tsarigradsko area, a key business district and innovation hub in the Bulgarian capital, presents significant growth opportunities. “It aims to empower companies and entrepreneurs with its full suite of flexible workspace solutions”, it is said. The now third location of WorkBetter offers dedicated desks, private offices for team of 2 to 30 people and tailored managed solutions for teams of 50+ people.

Today’s transaction doesn’t seem to include ThisWay’ s other location (Serdika).

ThisWay is a spinoff of Sterling Offices, a premium office suites provider with locations in Sofia and Istanbul.

Tony Aleksandrov, WorkBetter’s CEO, and Giles Blanchard, founder of Sterling Offices and ThisWay, were speakers at last year’s Coworking Europe 2024 conference, in Sofia. WorkBetter hosted the Day 1 party.
