Spanish operator Aticco opens 20,000 sqm coworking campus in Barcelona, largest in Southern Europe

Spanish coworking operator Aticco has opened Aticco Diagrame, a new large-scale campus in Barcelona. It is the operator’s ninth location in the city, offering 20,000 sqm of flexible workspace for more than 2,200 users. According to Spanish newspaper El Periódico,  this is currently the largest coworking space in Spain and Southern Europe.

As reported by the company in a LinkedIn post, around 75% of the space is already pre-let at opening.

The site is located in Barcelona’s 22th district, known as the city’s main technology and innovation hub. A recent Cushman & Wakefield report shows that the district accounted for nearly half of office leasing activity in Barcelona in 2025.

The building is fully operated by Aticco under an agreement with real estate owner Patrizia.

It spans multiple floors and integrates a range of workspace formats, including coworking areas, private offices and meeting rooms. The campus includes four terraces totalling over 1,400 sqm, a rooftop pool, a gym, food and beverage areas and dedicated spaces for community and events.

Founded in 2016, the company currently operates 14 locations across Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. Aticco positions itself as an ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurs, combining workspace with community and support services.

In 2020, the company expanded its offering with the launch of Aticco Living, focused on coliving, and Aticco Lab, a platform supporting entrepreneurship. They have recently launched the Barcelona Finance Hub initiative, which supports the financial innovation ecosystem (FinTech, InsurTech, LegalTech, and PropTech) through meetups, events, and training programs.

Aticco is also a long-time partner and regular speaker at Coworking Europe conferences.
