Czech Operator WorkLounge Expands 9,000 sqm Prague Flagship With Seven New Floors for Corporates

Czech flexible workspace operator WorkLounge has opened four fully fitted floors at its City Point Pankrác flagship in Prague over the past eight months. The expansion forms part of the company’s ongoing development of the 9,000 sqm property, with three additional floors scheduled to open before the end of the year.

The City Point Pankrác location is the company’s flagship asset and accounts for around 35% of WorkLounge’s total portfolio. At 9,000 sqm, it is the largest site in the operator’s network and plays a key role in its strategy to serve larger corporate occupiers.

The operator said demand has supported rapid growth at the location. The latest addition is an Executive Floor on the fourth level. The new space features a signature interior concept, advanced technology and flexible workspace solutions. The floor targets companies requiring space for teams of more than 15 people and can accommodate occupiers with up to around 100 employees.

WorkLounge has been bringing new space to the market gradually following its takeover of the City Point building, releasing floors one by one as demand increases. Alongside the office expansion, the company has started the refurbishment of the building’s main lobby and reception area.

Founded in 2017, WorkLounge operates seven locations across Prague. The network totals 25,450 sqm and serves around 1,200 members. Its customer base includes freelancers, startups, small and medium-sized businesses and larger corporate teams from various industries.
