French Operator BOPE Takes Over Coworking Site from French Operator W’iN

French flexible workspace operator BOPE has taken over a coworking and managed office site in Bordeaux, a space previously run by another French operator, W’iN Coworking. The now-open site takes BOPE to four operational locations across Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux.

The former W’iN space occupies a landmark building in the district, the former headquarters of a French savings bank, now listed as a Historic Monument. It offers coworking, private offices, managed offices (bureaux opérés), meeting rooms and communal areas, with 121 coworking positions, 51 open-plan workstations and a 600 sqm rooftop.

The takeover deepens BOPE’s presence in Bordeaux, where it already runs a site, called La Victoire, and the operator is expanding there further. It plans to open a 4,000 sqm coworking and managed office space in a former church in January 2027. The scheme will feature modular managed offices across the building, including a conference room set beneath the vaults with a view of the church’s rose window.

The two Bordeaux additions reflect what BOPE describes as its core approach: taking on buildings with history, preserving their identity and giving them new uses. Its existing Bordeaux site, La Victoire, occupies a converted former car garage, and the operator frames the new sites as a continuation of that strategy: a former garage, a former bank headquarters and, soon, a former church.

BOPE operates premium flexible workspaces in Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux. Its network includes a 2,200 sqm site in central Paris and a 2,300 sqm site in Nantes, opened in December 2024 with capacity for up to 300 workstations, alongside its Bordeaux locations.
