Scaling Space opens a 5.000 m2 coworking location in Leipzig, in a retail building shared with Inditex (Zara, Stradivarius…)

The Germany based coworking operator Scaling Spaces is set to broaden its geographical footprint by opening its largest location outside of Berlin this summer. The new space, boasting approximately 5,000 m2, will occupy the first floor of a strategically chosen building, offering modern workspaces that range from dynamic coworking areas to private offices.

The choice of location and the timing of this expansion are particularly notable as they coincide with Inditex, the owner of internationally renowned garment brands such as Zara and Stradivarius, opening a store in the same complex in Leipzig, as reported by Immobilien Aktuell Magazin. This move is expected to increase foot traffic and enhance the visibility of the new office, potentially attracting a mix of professionals associated with the fashion and creative industries.

Scaling Spaces, founded in 2017, operates five locations, four in Berlin and one in Frankfurt. The Leipzig announcement will be the sixth location.

“The company has consistently emphasized its commitment to providing scalable office solutions that adapt to the evolving needs of modern businesses”, says the article.

Two years ago, Scaling Spaces launched its Frankfurt new space through a sub-lease agreement with the international Real Estate services provider JLL, according to which the coworking operator manages 1.000 m2 of flexible workspace services within JLL’s Frankfurt HQ..

With this latest development, Scaling Spaces not only reinforces its presence in Germany but also aligns itself with major players in the retail sector, suggesting a strategic approach to location that benefits from the synergy between commercial retail and professional work environments, observes the Immobilien Aktuell Magazin article.
